At the front, this model has an aggressive fascia with protruding Diamond Pentagon grille. The grill is flanked by LED Jewel Eye lights with Chicane daytime running lights inspired by the ARX-05 Daytona Prototype. While at the bottom there is a large air intake and carbon fiber splitter that adorns the front end.

The sporty style continues to the rear, where the designer also gives a model of flowing bodywork, muscular rear fenders and dynamic roof lines. In addition there are also 21-inch alloy wheels with the support of a high-performance Brembo braking system and four-piston calipers.

Acura did not mention the performance specifications, but said that the concept has a high-performance engine. Recalling when Acura announced plans to revive the Type S moniker, they announced a V6 engine with an exclusive turbocharger. The engine is referred to as a high-performance power plant that will be paired with the company's latest Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system.

It is still unclear when TLX Type S will be introduced, but potential customers don't have to wait too long, because the company confirmed plans to unveil two Type S variants in the next two years.
