Mercedes-Benz is committed to keep alive the V12 engine. The German manufacturer introduced a new line of two-door models (coupe) in the S-Class, the S65 AMG Coupe, which is projected as a substitute CL65 Coupe.
This model is basically developed from the S65 AMG four-door. There is a fundamental change experienced. In addition to a reduced number of access into the car, three-star logo is placed a small corner in the hood, moved to the grille with a larger size. The rear lights are also more narrow for strong impression.
This new model will carry 6.000cc engine, V12, the same used CL65 Coupe. With twin turbocharged technology, the power generated reaches 621 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque. Power and torque that exceeds the average supercar!
With that material, the driver can accelerate from rest to 100 kph in just 4 seconds, maximum speed is electronically limited to 300 kph.
Although adopting the same machine with the CL65 AMG, the car is claimed to be much more efficient in terms of fuel use, as well as lower emissions.
Heavier weights, but Mercedes-Benz promising performance at an incredible twists. By using active body control and asphalt surface scans obtained from the camera, the car will automatically adjust the tilt turn and the more gripping.
Not to mention about the price, but clearly this model will come this year (2014).
